About PBS Group
The PBS Group Ltd. was established more than 10 years ago and its Head Office is based in Doncaster. It has opened further regional offices in Doncaster and Nottingham. It focuses on general building and refurbishment in social housing, Ministry of Defence, schools, care homes and as modular work with Portakabin in York, restoration of listed buildings and new build. During the Financial Year 07/08 ending 31st March 2008 its turnover was £6m. Forecasted revenue for the current year is £7.5m.
In December 2006 the PBS Group opened its Midlands Regional Office in the City of Nottingham demonstrating its commitment to Nottingham, Leicester and Lincolnshire. In support of the ongoing expansion the PBS Group Ltd has also opened a Northern Regional Office in Doncaster.
Regarding social housing refurbishment, under the Decent Homes 2010 initiative, the PBS Group Ltd. has been engaged by the following main contractors FHM, Mears Group, Enterprise PLC, Kier Group, Bullock Construction, Henry Boot, ROK and Wates in Doncaster, Leeds, Wakefield, Kirklees, Hull, Scunthorpe, Rotherham, Barnsley, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. It has refurbished in excess of 3,000 properties (a mixture of kitchens, bathrooms, central heating and full rewires). The PBS Group is currently very much focused on Doncaster St Leger and is increasing its work-force from 100 to 200 in 2 stages during the Financial Year 2007/08.
We are accredited for MOD refurbishment work and we are commencing work, in partnership with them, in Wiltshire on a £1.5 million contract. In partnership with Portakabin in York our latest job was to fit out toilets and a welfare block for J Sainsbury in Nottingham.
