Our business has introduced programmes that help us to reduce the impact of our operations on the environment whilst improving efficiency and making cost savings. The programmes are integral to the way we work. We work with our major suppliers and customers to identify the most environmentally friendly materials for their projects.
The PBS Group Ltd Environmental Policy
In respect of the environment, PBS is committed to continuously improving its environmental performance, preventing pollution arising from its activities, products and services, and meeting legal requirements.
To ensure this Policy is fully implemented, we are committed to:
- reducing, reusing and recycling materials and resources where possible
- establishing, measuring and reporting our environmental performance through setting objectives/targets in the following areas:
- waste management
- carbon management
- resource efficiency
- environmental management system
- training, awareness and communication
- working in partnership with our suppliers to ensure effective environmental supply chain management and promoting the sustainable sourcing of products and materials

All our employees have a personal responsibility to act in an environmentally conscious manner. Our Environmental Policy is assigned to Robert Daniels (Managing Director) who is responsible for ensuring that sufficient resources are available to facilitate the effective implementation and maintenance of our policy. He is also responsible for the communication of environmental obligations to the management team and individual site managers. In addition all Company employees are responsible for ensuring that their working areas are operating in accordance with Company environmental standards and that they report any environmental issues should they occur.
